Juno the Bakery

Juno the Bakery, run by ex-Noma pastry chef Emil Glaser in Osterbro, is widely regarded as one of Copenhagen's best bakeries, named the city's best by Berlingske in 2024 and 2025 and reaching near-cult status for its cardamom bun. People describe the bun as light, pillowy and buttery with a caramelised cardamom-sugar crunch, and rave about the laminated croissants and seasonal pastries too. The recurring trade-off is the long queue and small space, plus limited hours (closed Mondays and Tuesdays), though most say the wait moves fast and is worth it.
