Alex Sushi

Widely regarded as one of Oslo's top sushi destinations and often cited among Europe's best, Alex Sushi is praised for exceptionally fresh fish, refined sashimi and nigiri, and a theatrical open-kitchen counter where chefs work around a ship-shaped oval table. The tasting menus and omakase draw the strongest reviews, though it's consistently called expensive, and a number of longtime regulars feel quality and portions have slipped from the restaurant's peak.
