Jumbo is a hugely popular harbour-side sourdough bakery that fans rate as some of the best bread, pastries and coffee in Aarhus, with the cheese-and-butter bun (BMO), croissants and cardamom buns singled out for praise. The craft-focused quality and friendly staff are widely admired, though the tiny original location draws long queues and the pastries can feel pricey. One Danish critic found a seasonal carnival bun let down by a dry, under-filled interior despite good ingredients.
