The Carlsberg Byen taproom of ÅBEN, one of Copenhagen's more ambitious craft breweries, set inside the old Kedelhallen — the brewery's original boiler hall — so you're drinking new-generation beer in the birthplace of Danish brewing. Around 14 taps run the ÅBEN range (hoppy IPAs, fruited sours, lagers, imperial stouts) with Nordic bites alongside and a sunny outdoor area for the summer. It's a proper beer destination that also happens to be a great-looking, atmospheric room; go for the taps, stay for the setting.
