A proper old-school Danish kro out in Kastrup near the metro's airport end, Allé Kroen has served traditional food since 1975 and is now run by the founders' grandsons, who took it back over in 2018 to restore its heritage. Expect smørrebrød at lunch and classics like meatballs, plaice and salmon at dinner — honest, unpretentious Danish cooking rather than anything trend-driven. Handy before a flight, and a warm local institution for the neighbourhood.
