Amagerport Vinstue is a genuine piece of Amager history: a brown wine-tavern from 1917 at the very start of Amagerbrogade, often called the island's oldest pub, with old wall paintings and a view toward Christianshavn and the Church of Our Saviour's spire. It opens early and pours beer, wine, coffee and spirits at fair prices to a mix of loyal locals, the classic cosy bodega experience without pretension. If you like old Copenhagen watering holes with real patina, this is one of the good ones. Come for the atmosphere and the history, not a menu.
