The Spis take

The café heart of BaneGaarden, a genuinely special green food-and-culture village built into restored 1909 railway barns in Jernbanebyen between Sydhavn and Vesterbro. It leans hard into organic, seasonal, sustainability-minded food, with rustic wooden barns, a greenhouse and 1.5 hectares of wild garden to wander. It's more of an all-day destination and event space than a quick coffee stop, and that ambition is exactly its charm.
