The Spis take

BAR50 is the lobby café-bar of Danhostel Copenhagen City on H.C. Andersens Boulevard, so temper expectations: it's a hostel hangout, not a destination. By day it's breakfast and coffee; by evening it turns into a friendly, budget-minded bar with cheap draft-beer happy hours and the occasional DJ or bingo night. Fine and convenient if you're staying there or want a low-key cheap drink near Tivoli, but not somewhere you'd cross town for.
