The Spis take

An Italian-inspired social-dining restaurant in the centre, open since 2017 and built around shared menus of 10 or 13 small servings brought to the table. It's consistently one of Aarhus's best-loved restaurants, praised for flavour-packed cooking, attentive service and a cosy modern room, with strong ratings across the board. It isn't cheap: two people with drinks comfortably passes 1000 kr, and a few diners quibble on portion-to-price, but for a special dinner it earns the spend.
