Benni's Bar is one of Vesterbro's oldest and most characterful taverns, planted at the busy Enghavevej/Ny Carlsberg corner and beloved as a proper cheap-beer bodega. Expect bottled beers under 30 kroner, a jukebox heavy on rock, and a democratic crowd that runs from students to old-timers — gritty, laid-back and genuinely local. This is the antithesis of a polished cocktail bar, and that's the whole point.
