Bistro Central is a French-Italian corner bistro in the Indre By, part café, part restaurant, part bar with striped awnings and art on the walls. The kitchen does comfort classics done with care — croque monsieur, moules frites, steak au poivre, spaghetti piccante, steak tartare — and the wine and cocktail lists lean French and Italian. Open all day, it turns livelier on weekend nights when the corner fills up; a dependable, atmospheric all-rounder in the centre.
