The Spis take

One of the little charity hot-dog wagons run under Børnenes Kontor, an Aarhus institution since 1944 whose kiosks fund support for local children. This is the classic Danish pølsevogn experience: a ristet med det hele, a rød pølse, a cold sodavand, eaten standing on a central square. Nothing gourmet and no reason to overthink it, but it is genuinely local, cheap, and the money goes somewhere good.
