The Spis take

One of the more genuinely exciting newer arrivals on Nørrebro: a German-Austrian restaurant and bar that plays traditional dishes (Käsespätzle, Maultaschen, Kaiserschmarrn) with precision and a wink, and picked up a Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2026 for doing it well without fuss. The wine list and the warm, unpretentious service get singled out as much as the food. A few diners note portions can run small for the price and mains can be slow, but this is a real destination, not a gimmick.
