A 1938 corner spot on Amager Boulevard that spent decades as a proper brown bodega before a new team took over in 2022, kept the vintage murals, and turned it into a serious smørrebrod restaurant while dropping the 'Bodega' from the name. It's now firmly about high-quality, mostly-organic open sandwiches with a good beer, snaps and wine list to match, and Berlingske's critic has called it Amager's best smorrebrod. If you want traditional Danish lunch without the tourist-priced Nyhavn crowds, this is a lovely, atmospheric bet.
