BUKA is one of the buzzy modern Copenhagen bakeries that draws queues for its laminated pastries, with the pistachio croissant treated as a rite of passage. The baking is genuinely good and the staff stay cheerful under pressure, but be honest with yourself about the trade-offs: it's small, cramped and often mobbed, seating is scarce, prices are steep (around 58 DKK for that pistachio croissant), and the coffee is merely fine next to the pastries. Go early for the freshest bake and a fighting chance at a seat.
