A Nørrebro fixture since 1998, Café Castro is one of the neighbourhood's biggest cafés — a sprawling all-day spot for brunch (build-your-own or weekend buffet), burgers, salads and a broad, do-everything menu, with sought-after pavement seating opposite Nørrebrohallen. It trades on volume, atmosphere and long opening hours more than culinary finesse, and reviews are decidedly mixed. Best for a relaxed, sunny brunch or a casual drink rather than a memorable meal.
