This is Cafe Nemoland (Bistro Nemo) in the heart of Christiania — far more a legendary hangout and free-town institution than a restaurant. You come for the loose, anything-goes vibe: local beers, backgammon, a changing dish of the day plus burgers and shawarma, and free outdoor concerts through summer. The food is honest canteen fare, but the point is the atmosphere and the people-watching; go for the experience, not the cuisine.
