Copenhagen's only listed basement restaurant, tucked under the Workers Museum and restored to look exactly as it did in 1892 — Prime Minister Stauning had his regular table here. It's a genuinely atmospheric time capsule serving traditional smørrebrød (around 22 kinds), beer and snaps in the old-fashioned way, cooked from scratch. Come for the history and the herring-and-aquavit ritual as much as the food; it's a lunch spot, not a dinner destination.
