Good forhistoric Danish lunch with smorrebrod and snaps

The Spis take

One of the oldest eating-and-drinking houses in Copenhagen, in an 18th-century building near Christianshavn's canal on Langebrogade (the site goes back to a 1670s distillery). It's the place for a proper old-school Danish lunch: smørrebrød, an ice-cold snaps, and the house Pariserbøf. The history and worn-in authenticity are the whole draw, it's small and popular, so book ahead.
