The Spis take
A calm, high-ceilinged museum café tucked inside the Museum of Copenhagen (København Museum), open to anyone whether or not you've bought a museum ticket. It's a mother-and-son operation pouring Copenhagen Coffee Lab brews alongside pastries, cakes, salads, smørrebrød and simple breakfast/lunch, with lovely courtyard seating in summer. Not a destination in itself, but a genuinely pleasant, well-priced pit stop if you're in the city centre; the tables run small if you order a big plate.
