The Spis take

A cosy café-brasserie and small live-music venue down in Sydhavnen on Jægergårdsgade, where the point is as much the room and the stage as the plate. The kitchen keeps it homemade and unfussy: fish or meat tapas plates, paninis, salads and burgers, and they bake and pickle in-house. Best thought of as a place to settle in for food, a drink and a concert on a Thursday-to-Saturday night rather than a serious dining outing.
