The Odense branch of the national Café Vivaldi chain, set in a former bank on the Vestergade corner: two cosy floors, big terrace, and a broad crowd-pleasing menu of brunch, sandwiches, salads, steaks and cakes from their own bakery. Dependable and central, but it's a chain café, so expect consistency over surprise.
