The Spis take

A long-running neighbourhood café-bar on Amagerbrogade with roots in a local music association, open since 1991. It's part local, part live-music and sports haunt — blues concerts (it takes part in the Copenhagen Blues Festival), football on the screens and a base for the local club — with long hours running late into weekend nights. Come for the community atmosphere and a beer rather than the cooking; it's a proper local's bar.
