Candido (Gastronomia Candido) has been an Italian institution on Godthåbsvej in Frederiksberg since 1986 — a proper gastronomia doing fresh pasta, authentic pizza, homemade gelato and a deli counter of cheese, ham and salumi. Locals rate it highly for genuinely good, honest Italian food at reasonable prices, the kind of dependable old-school place that keeps regulars for decades. Mostly takeaway-and-pickup. Closed Tuesdays.
