Carlsens Kvarter is widely regarded as one of Odense's (and by some accounts Denmark's) best beer bars, a cozy brown pub in an 1898 former pharmacy with an original opal-glass ceiling, offering 30+ taps and 100-200+ bottles spanning Danish craft, Belgian Trappist and other European styles. Beer lovers repeatedly single out the knowledgeable, attentive bartenders who help guests discover something new. The vibe is relaxed and local, more neighborhood living room than slick modern bar, and dogs are welcome.
