The Spis take

A cheerful dessert house on Frederiksborggade near Nørreport, and one of the early Copenhagen spots to jump on the 'freakshake' craze — towering, over-topped milkshakes alongside cheesecakes and other sweet indulgences. It's unapologetically sugary and Instagram-bait rather than refined patisserie, which is exactly the point for the teens and sweet-tooths it draws. Go for the spectacle and the sugar rush, not subtlety. (Note: the second Nørrebrogade branch appears to have closed; this central location is the one still going.)
