The Spis take

A seasonal roasted-chestnut vendor rather than a restaurant — when autumn hits, Elis brings Italian marroni to central Copenhagen and roasts them warm in butter, sometimes paired with mulled wine. It's a lovely, nostalgic street treat for a cold walk around town from roughly October to December, and outside that window there's nothing to visit. Charming for what it is: a warm paper cone of chestnuts, not a meal.
