Emmerys is a homegrown chain of 100% organic bakery-cafes dotted all over Copenhagen, and it does exactly what a reliable chain should: decent sourdough and rye, cakes and pastries, and a hot cup of coffee in a pleasant room. Nobody's calling it a destination bakery, and prices run a touch high even by Copenhagen standards, but it's a dependable everyday stop and consistent from branch to branch. Fine for a quick lunch or a coffee-and-bun break rather than a pilgrimage.
