The Spis take

A non-profit craft-beer bar on Klostertorvet run entirely by volunteers, with proceeds funnelled into charity projects abroad. The draw is a well-chosen selection of beers (staff will often let you taste before you commit) in a small, candlelit, living-room sort of room that hosts open-mics, small concerts, flea markets and film nights. It gets packed on weekends and the volunteer setup means service can be relaxed rather than slick, but that is rather the point. A genuinely warm, purpose-driven spot that locals are fond of.
