The Spis take

The original Famo, opened on Saxogade in 2005 and the reason the whole little Copenhagen-Italian cult exists. There's no menu to speak of — you get a fixed four-course run (around 400 DKK) built from whatever's in season, cooked with restraint and real care in a cramped, homely room. It's a set-menu, trust-the-kitchen kind of place that regulars adore; book ahead and go hungry.
