An outpost of Hansens — the Danish ice-cream house making creamy, organic ice cream by the same family methods since 1922 — parked by Søndermarken, which is exactly where you want a cone on a sunny day near the park and the zoo. Expect rich flavours, freshly baked cones and the usual milkshakes and waffles; quality is genuinely high and the queues on warm afternoons prove it. A lovely warm-weather stop, less relevant off-season.
