The Spis take

A beloved vintage ice-cream truck parked on Islands Brygge, scooping organic soft-serve and flødeis to people sprawled along the harbour on a sunny day. It's an institution of the summer waterfront more than a restaurant - run by 'ismand' Thomas since around 2010 - and the appeal is exactly that: a cone in hand with your feet toward the water. Purely seasonal and weather-dependent, so don't plan around it, but if it's out and the sun's shining, it's a small joy.
