The Spis take

A summer garden bar and café tucked behind the old Valby Maskinfabrik near Toftegårds Plads, all outdoor tables, Italian pizzas, spritzes and cheap-and-cheerful hygge. Expect live bands, DJs and music bingo, kids' toys and dogs welcome - it's a hangout, not a restaurant, and you can even bring your own food. Only open in the warm months, but on a sunny Valby afternoon it's a genuinely lovely low-key spot to lose a few hours.
