A Danish-Scandinavian all-day restaurant in the historic Heering House at the mouth of Nyhavn, running from breakfast and brunch through smørrebrød lunches to a proper evening menu. The pickled herring and open sandwiches draw particular praise, service is friendly under pressure, and the canal-side setting is a big part of the appeal. Prices are firmly Nyhavn-level, but it's a reliable, pleasant choice in a stretch full of tourist traps.
