The Spis take

Cheap, late-night Greek gyros near the waterfront, run by a carpenter who brought over a cook with two restaurants back in Greece. The pitch is authenticity on a budget: juicy pork or chicken gyros in soft pita with fries, tomato, onion and homemade tzatziki. Regulars, including Greeks, say it tastes close to the real thing. Open until 04:00, so it doubles as a solid post-bar stop.
