The Østerbro outpost of Maharaja, a Copenhagen Indian institution that traces its roots back some four decades and has collected chef's hats from Politiken along the way. This is old-school, sit-down North Indian cooking — the kind of place that predates the city's newer wave of regional Indian spots — and reviews are solidly positive if not universally glowing. Worth it if you want dependable classics (tikka, tandoori, rich gravies) with a bit of history behind them rather than the latest trend.
