ISSEI is the Nikkei restaurant inside the Radisson Collection Royal Hotel, serving the Japanese-Peruvian fusion of ceviches, tiraditos and grilled plates where miso meets lime and soy meets chili. The raw starters (salmon tataki, cured tuna, ceviche) draw the most praise, and the room and service feel appropriately polished for a hotel dining destination. Expect upscale prices and, per some diners, uneven pacing and thin vegetarian options; it's a good choice for a stylish night out if Nikkei is what you're after rather than a hidden local gem.
