The Spis take

One of Amager's most popular old-school bodegas on Holmbladsgade — a proper Danish værtshus with cheap draft beer, darts, an analog jukebox and a good deal of cigarette smoke. It opens early and runs late, drawing a mixed crowd that skews young and lively on weekends. This is dive-bar territory, not dining; go for the atmosphere and the prices, not a menu.
