Judie is a tiny, ambitious smørrebrød spot right on the Nyhavn waterfront, and it punches well above the tourist-trap zone it sits in. The kitchen (headed by a former Danish smørrebrød champion) does seasonal, chef's-choice open sandwiches that earned top marks from both Berlingske and Politiken, so this is smørrebrød as a proper culinary outing rather than a canal-side snack. It's on the pricey side and service can run slow when it's busy, but for the quality and the setting it's an easy recommend for a leisurely Copenhagen lunch.
