The Spis take

One of Copenhagen's more headline-grabbing recent openings: an Asian-Latin fusion restaurant on Istedgade from Argentinian chef Gonzalo Wolfsohn and Venezuelan chef Tomás Abenante, with pink neon and a giant fishbowl by Rebel Rebel (the design studio behind several World's 50 Best rooms). Think grilled sea bass and oyster-mushroom skewers, evening-only and cocktail-forward — it's a stylish, adventurous night out rather than a quiet neighbourhood dinner, and it knows it. Go for the theatre and the cross-continental cooking, but expect Vesterbro buzz and prices to match.
