Lille Fugl is the Flere Fugle group's little city-center café, opened late 2023 inside the Kunstforeningen Gammel Strand art space with a view over the canal. It's an informal, relaxed spot built on good seasonal ingredients and, above all, seriously good pastries and coffee, part of a family of well-loved Copenhagen bakeries. It was crowned Café of the Year by Politiken, so expect it to be busy and buzzy, especially in summer; go for the baking, the light and the location.
