The Spis take

A classic Italian tucked into the corner of Gråbrødretorv and Kejsergade, with high arched windows over the cobbles and a slightly formal room of dark furniture, white tablecloths and wine bottles on the walls. The kitchen cooks from scratch with a regional slant toward Piemonte and Sicily, and the fixed multi-course evening menus (welcome drink included) are the easy move. A pleasant, traditional sit-down Italian for the square, more old-school charm than cutting edge.
