The original flagship of the Madklubben empire near Amalienborg, and the clearest expression of its founding idea: honest, Danish-with-French-technique bistro cooking at fixed, unusually reasonable prices (one/two/three courses for roughly 100/150/200 kr). The room is lively, modern-Scandi and unpretentious, service is down-to-earth, and it's dependable value even if the odd dish underwhelms. A safe, high-energy bet for a good-value dinner in the centre.
