The Spis take

A time-warp dive bar on Vesterbrogade built around a serious vinyl collection, where the staff take real pride in what's spinning. Cheap beer, a cult following for the Mexican shots, and, unusually for Copenhagen, indoor smoking is still allowed, which sets the whole mood. It's small, dim and old-school; come for a low-key, unpretentious night, not for cocktails or comfort.
