The Spis take

Maya is the buzzy Latin-inspired spot on Flæsketorvet in Kødbyen, all tacos, ceviche and cocktails in a warm jungle-ish room that leans as much into being a night out as a dinner. It's fun and photogenic and clearly built for groups and celebrations, but the 'dress to impress' line and 18+-after-10pm policy tell you it's chasing a scene as much as the food. Come for the atmosphere and the shareable plates; the seven-course tasting at 395 DKK is a fair way in if you're hungry.
