A Nyhavn stalwart set in a 17th-century canal house, best known for an all-you-can-eat herring buffet of a dozen-plus homemade varieties alongside classic smørrebrød and a long list of house aquavits. It's squarely touristy and quality can be inconsistent, but the herring spread is genuinely good value and a fun, traditional way to eat by the water. Go at lunch and lean into the buffet rather than the à la carte.
