Good forelevated smørrebrød in the King's Garden

The Spis take
Orangeriet is a glass-walled restaurant set against the western wall of Kongens Have (the King's Garden), and the setting, like dining on someone's sunny garden porch, is honestly half the reason to go. The kitchen, under a former Bocuse d'Or competitor, does smørrebrød at a high level for lunch and more ambitious plates at dinner. It's romantic and central; prices are fair for the quality though not cheap, and reviews of the food range from very good to merely solid, so come as much for the location as the plate.
