This is the beating heart of the Original Coffee operation — their bakery and production site in a converted butcher's shop in Kodbyen, supplying bread and pastries to the whole chain and open to the public for a cup and something fresh at the source. Original Coffee is a reliable, quality-minded local chain rather than a third-wave pilgrimage, but here you're as close to the ovens as it gets. Good for a solid coffee-and-pastry stop in the Meat Packing District; not a scene, just dependably done.
