POMA is not a typical cafe but a coffee research and roasting outfit with a Copenhagen base on Prags Boulevard on Amager, running trials in greenhouses and with partner farms to push how coffee is grown and roasted. For serious coffee nerds it's a fascinating, forward-looking name; casual drop-ins should check ahead, since it functions more as a roastery/showroom (with open-house events) than a walk-in coffee bar. Their beans also turn up at specialty shops around town.
