The Spis take

A straightforward, easygoing sports bar in the center since 1992, built for match days: walls of TV screens, several pool tables (booked in timed slots), dart boards and cold draft beer. There's no real kitchen — you bring or order food in — so come for the games, a few frames and a pint rather than dinner. It does exactly what a good sports pub should, and locals rate it the city's best of the type.
